FREE Journals for Teens and Children

clip_image002Death of a loved one touches each of us in a unique way, and that  experience is often very painful and difficult to process. Yet, as adults, we have developed coping skills that assist us and we have other loss experiences from which to learn. Teenagers and childrenclip_image002[5] experience similar losses and have less life experience and maturity to draw from as they try to deal with their loved one’s death. We have often wondered, “What can we do to better help the children and grandchildren of our St. Joseph Hospice patients?”

Through a special grant provided by the St. Joseph Hospice Foundation, we are now able to provide Fire In My Heart, Ice In My Veins (For Teens), Remember...A Child Remembers (For Ages 8-12), and How I Feel: A Coloring Book for Grieving Children (For Ages 3-8) FREE OF CHARGE, for the teens and children of our St. Joseph Hospice families.

If you have a teenager or child in your  family who you feel would benefit from  either of the journals or the coloring book, please call or e-mail Kim at stjosephnober@yahoo.com to request a copy. Please also keep in mind that we offer FREE individual counseling for teens and children as well.
